Most of what we do is handled remotely — the first conversation, gathering your documents, signatures, and even your meeting of creditors, which the court conducts by video.
For most clients that means getting through an entire bankruptcy case without taking time off work or driving into the city. If you live out toward Bessemer, up in Gardendale, or over in Blount County, the distance shouldn’t factor into your decision.
If you’d rather meet in person, we’d be glad to see you. The office is downtown at 420 20th Street North. It’s your preference either way.

Before You Call
A few things that make the first conversation more useful — but don’t let any of this stop you from calling. We can work with whatever you have.
If it's a bankruptcy matter:
- A rough sense of what you owe and to whom
- Recent pay stubs, if you have them handy

- The police report, if you have it
- Where you've received treatment
